I am a senior studying mass communications with an emphasis in multimedia journalism at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Through my college years I have had the opportunity to be on staff at my school newspaper, The Advocate, as a copy editor, staff writer and features editor. I also was elected secretary for the school's Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) chapter, and served through the 2011-2012 school year.
The more time I spend studying this industry the more excited I am to be a part of it. This semester I have received an internship on campus in the Marketing and Communications department. I am extremely excited to learn more about this particular field of communications.
